That’s the day Iraq invaded Kuwait, an event that would start a domino effect that has lasted more than 20 years. I was just 19 at the time and not really sure what I wanted to do with my life. Benning, Georgia with an ominous Drill Sergeant Davies yelling at me like I had just stolen his life savings. It was exciting!
