Hint: they usually mean it. . Don’t you have donors who you judge as not being able to give a major gift? When I say major gift, I mean $10,000+ annually. For some organizations that raise less than $1M per year, I would say $2,500 or $5,000 could be considered a major gift. . Or “How can I help?” – test them.
