I recently attended Transparency Camp , a two-day event organized by the Sunlight Foundation. This is a promising trend. Contests: Portland's Civic App Challenge and Massachusetts' MassDot Developers Real-Time Challenge. Idea Crowdsourcing Sites: District of Columbia , New York , Edmonton, and San Francisco.
