The Boston Media Makers is a community of practice consisting of people in the Boston area who are making (new) media. The meetings take place the first Sunday of the month in Jamaica Plain. Flickr is one excellent example of community moderation. I learned one of the secrets of David Tames excellent photography - raw talent!
