The Boston Media Makers is a community of practice consisting of people in the Boston area who are making (new) media. The group includes podcaster, video bloggers, filmmakers, artists, educators, videographers, and more. The meetings take place the first Sunday of the month in Jamaica Plain. player and I really like it.
