Created in 1992, Ateliers du Bocage (the name roughly translates to forest workshop) was founded as a project of the Emmaus Social Movement , a postwar European humanitarian movement organized to nonviolently defend and support the most destitute members of society. We are also funding very special after school art classes in Afghanistan through our partnership with Trust In Education. We must raise $1,000 to keep our classes going for another year. We have come a long way!
