They sat side by side to discuss the role of women in rebuilding society, women's rights and the new Constitution, and family law. Women for Women is a nonprofit that pairs women survivors of war with women sponsors all over the world.

Kavita Ramdas is the President and CEO of the nonprofit, the Global Fund for Women. They wanted to create a literacy program for themselves because now there was a school where their children could go to school, but they felt embarrassed that they couldn't support their children because they themselves were illiterate.
