James Moody of Australia’s national research organization was talking about an idea of a humanitarian license for patents that has been floated by the YGL community. And then, we dashed off to get some fondue, dress up for the big South Africa party, and stay out ‘til 2 listening to great music and talking shop (just a little).

And so I think it's easy to forget that we have this global impact as a nation of individuals, right? We include suggested soundtracks of music to listen to while you're cooking and while you're having fun, and that ultimately it's also about feeling good. So just trying to get us to really see that.

They were using music, dance, poetry, and storytelling, and they were succeeding. The children are ages 6-16, and they're making huge strides by leading a national movement against child rape in Zimbabwe. I heard a wonderful story about a woman from Bangladesh who just scrimped to save a dollar to contribute to them.
