Elana designed The Telling History Project: Understanding the Past to Create the Future , a curriculum to teach students about human rights. After 9/11, she spearheaded an art-based CMCE 9/11 Trauma Relief Project in the New York City schools. She also pioneered art-based healing programs in post-war Bosnia.
