Soon after, I had the opportunity to write about a Bay Area non-profit, the Art of Yoga Project , that brings yoga, writing, and arts to girls in juvenile hall. By the time the story ran, I was so in awe of the Art of Yoga Project's work that I enrolled in a yoga teacher training.

The speakers were Alli Chagi-Starr, who is the Co-Founder of Art in Action ; Ilyse Hogue, the Campaign Director for MoveOn.org ; Melinda Kramer, the Founder and Director of Women's Earth Alliance ; and Reem Rahim, the Co-Founder and Vice President of Marketing for Numi Tea. As Britt said, I'm a founder of Art in Action. Not really?
