Anisha Desai is the Executive Director of the Women of Color Resource Center. Desai came to the Women of Color Resource Center from a Deputy Director role at United for a Fair Economy. Then, I moved into the world of teaching. She has co-authored publications on fair taxation, housing and the racial wealth divide.

She goes through an intensive training program in an educational track, that teaches her about her rights as a woman in health, economy, society, and politics, among other things. We work in countries like Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, among others. When we met her, Honorata was homeless.
