Anisha Desai is the Executive Director of the Women of Color Resource Center. Desai came to the Women of Color Resource Center from a Deputy Director role at United for a Fair Economy. The greatest thing that I came away with is that the United States' and the European notions of what African history is all about, are so simplified.
