Facebook recently announced a test in Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Slovakia, Serbia, Guatemala, and Cambodia. The goal of this test is to understand if people prefer to have separate places for personal and public content. So the Newsfeed algorithm tries to predict what each user wants to see in their Newsfeed. But no algorithm is perfect.

Bloggers, activists and friends gathered at our office to watch The New Silver , a film about a woman in Bolivia who is fighting to build a better life for her family with the help of microcredit. Working through our churches, campuses and other organizations, we engage more people in advocacy.

One of their programs is the Reality Tours, where they bring groups of individuals to regions to look at the social justice issues and other pressing issues, that really color the experience and the culture of a place. So our first exchange that we did with Global Exchange was called "Transformative Advocacy in Bolivia."
