For the past ten days, I’ve been in Rwanda, Africa. I was honored to be a trainer as part of the launch of the ACE Leaders Project, a program developed by the Institute of International Education Sub-Saharan Regional Office and supported by the Packard Foundation. Needless to say, I learned a lot!

Girls Who Code (GWC) is an international nonprofit organization focused on closing the gender gap in tech, and has been using Salesforce since 2014.

” Using a webinar and conference call platform, we were able to bring in participants from San Francisco, Rwanda, Kenya, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt. I organized and moderated a panel called “ Women Who Tech Globally.” Unfortunately, our presenter from Lebanon had connectivity issues and was unable to present.
