“Mobile-first” became a major topic for websites when Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, popularized the idea in 2010 at the Mobile World Congress. Likely, most of this growth will come from China, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, and Pakistan. A mobile-first approach is often referred to as making a website “responsive.”
