When there, volunteers set up a laptop that guests could use to make a donation via CC’s web site. In 2008, the event netted about $18,000. Red House@Your House offered an opportunity for young people to get involved. With this component, CC encouraged people to volunteer to host a party at their own homes or at a nearby restaurant.
