They are now in production in Honduras. Local people build the stoves that reduce consumption of wood by half and reduce smoke, carbon monoxide, methane, and soot particles inside the home. Big philanthropy names like Bill Clinton and Bill Gates endorsed it. The device did well on Kickstarter. It’s a pretty ingenious idea.
