Since then, the platform (which is open source ) has been modified for use in South Africa (mapping xenophobic violence), DR Congo , Vote Report India (to monitor the recent local elections) and more.

We develop free and open source software to help groups capture the stories of human rights abuse, and store and back them up securely in another country. No need to send us a letter.
