Bandwidth was a problem then, too. We were surprised when we reached a roadblock just West of El Paso. I was also surprised that El Paso, TX is only the half-way point between LA and Austin. And even if they had, most likely Twitter’s over-capacity fail-whale would have been my first, frustrated experience.
