In 2008 and 2009, there were many conference sessions and and documents presenting participatory case studies, most notably Wendy Pollock and Kathy McLean''s book Visitor Voices in Museum Exhibitions. What about traditional visitors and supporters who may not want to participate? Yes and no. why not museums?

In 1999, the Greenpeace national offices in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway united to form one regional entity: Greenpeace Nordic. Greenpeace Nordic’s work would be impossible without the support of over 500,000 volunteers from across the Nordic region. Greenpeace Nordic exist because this fragile earth deserves a voice.
