Although Vietnam is regarded as a developing country, it has a literacy rate of 94 percent. Since 1986, the country has been transitioning from a central-planned economy to a free-market system and trying to move from its dependency on agriculture to industry. It uses a crowd-funding matching system like the famous Kiva.org system.
