In the last six years, Community Boost_r , ReStart Challenges , and Things Camp have used an open community challenge model. It motivates and engages citizens across central and eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Turkey. Worman said that the challenge platforms also promoted local champions who had actually solved a social problem.
