Japan is the biggest source of tourists for Guam, with growing numbers from other Asian nations like South Korea. The FSM, which is made up of four distinct island states (Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk and Yap) sent teams from each of their states as well as the national government. Kipp has been a leading software developer in the region, creating software around election monitoring and government transparency just to name a few. We were supposed to start our visit with a very high government official, but instead Kipp took me over to Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
