Pull not push content, changeability of information after initial transmission, ease of opting out for recipients, easier delivery of attached multimedia files.). They have great stats and services.

If you have a small budget, you might consider a blogging platform like typepad for the ease of use. Tagging helps found things stay found as well as facilitate the wisdom of the group.
