All of our RCI-refurbished PCs come with either a Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system, and all come with Office 2007. Several models also come with Symantec Norton Antivirus 2012 with system restore capabilities. The computers are now serving more than 9,200 individuals from 13 different nonprofits across the Czech Republic.

Building Refurbished Computers with Volunteers at InterConnection

In the course of doing this work, InterConnection also trains people to learn how to do IT repair work at no cost to the trainees and trainees also receive a free computer upon successful completion of their course. Suffice to say that they’re a leader in the U.S. on responsible export of refurbished computers to the developing world.
