Vu’s passion to make the world better, combined with a low score on the Law School Admission Test, drove him into the field of nonprofit work, where he learned that we should take the work seriously, but not ourselves. Lori’s gift is to help nonprofit organizations communicate powerfully so they raise exponentially more money.

They wanted to create a literacy program for themselves because now there was a school where their children could go to school, but they felt embarrassed that they couldn't support their children because they themselves were illiterate. Women and their children are disproportionately victims of outside violence as well.
