They use many more devices, channels, and tools then "regular" people. I think this is connected to what Rheingold's Attention Literacy piece, but I have go back and read it again. Ethan Zuckerman recently did an analysis of tweets from Moldova and found this to be true. For each of us, connectivity carries a high price.
