Source: Weather Channel Alerts 2009 was looking like a very uneventful hurricane season. That is until Hurricane Ida slammed into El Salvador killing 91 people as of this writing. This site worked much like Katrina Aftermath , with aggregations of content generated by the public, news orgs and govt agencies.
