From there, I ended up going to the Burma-Thai border and working with women refugees who had fled the ethnic cleansing under the Burmese dictatorship. We brought professional empowerment mentors and coaches, and also professional editors. Those women asked me to be their messenger. We think it's because of the mentorship.
