Facebook recently announced a test in Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Slovakia, Serbia, Guatemala, and Cambodia. Users in these countries can only see Page posts that their friends comment on or share. We want to see pictures from our best friend’s wedding, or share exciting news about the new job we’re taking. But no algorithm is perfect.

They got so much confidence by being encouraged by each other, and by being published, that they started cyber cafes, they started solar power projects through women that they had met on the site, they got new job opportunities, and they got hired with other news bureaus. They're coming from Nepal, the Philippines, and Bolivia.
