TechSoup partnered with agencies like USAID and tech companies like Microsoft and Yahoo to host these "tech for good" challenges annually via our NetSquared program.

LABB created an Oil Spill Crisis Map in response to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010. During the early days of our Netsquared project , we held big annual conferences to showcase and fund innovative tech for good. Ushahidi's David Kobia was named Humanitarian of the Year in 2010 by the MIT Technology Review.
