YouTube is the #2 search engine (second to Google.com) where people find information in video form online. There are also many amazing nonprofits on YouTube that have over 100k subscribers, but subscribers aren’t donors. The question is: how do you raise money on YouTube as a nonprofit? The YouTubers who manage those channels know how to tell a story and they are experts in their field. My YouTube examples don’t quite fit this lofty definition. They will be representing your organization. But I have learned a few things about each of those topics. Why dive into subjects that are off my beaten path of discovery?

It is a core religious practice, and nowadays many Muslims make Zakat donations to eligible organizations. You see, we work with a number of organizations who receive Zakat donations during Ramadan. We get it: this policy is intended to prevent hate speech. Was the policy being fairly applied across different religions or … not?
