Lame spams of the day: fortunemart

I've been getting hit with lots of spam from fortunemart@yahoo.com. Each spam has been one line of gibberish, plain text, no graphics, no formatting. Do people really fall for this garbage? These guys aren't even trying. I can't find any analysis of what happens if you click the links, and I'm not going to experiment.

Lame spam as blog comments

I wrote recently about spam in the form of blog comments. Fortunately, my anti-spam filters (Akismet and Bad Behavior) caught them. I assume that most of these are planted for search engine optimization rather than to get people to click a link. Will likely be back to get more. The first sentence yields over 300 million hits.

This batch of spams looks like Facebook messages -- same colors, fonts, and formatting, and they have a "Go To Profile" button. Does the familiar look and feel dupe people into clicking before they read? But they don't mention Facebook. According to this post , they're selling meds online.
