This free software download from Google is like having the tags of flickr on your hard drive, lets you visually search through your folders, and then upload, print, edit photos, burn cds, order prints, etc. There are some things I don't like only because as an artist-type, I want more control over the design. (Not everyone is.)

We started slowly with the MySpace page , and we started in earnest with Flickr. We did this graffiti interactive via Flickr. The Flickr site became this vital thing to get that information about the changes back out to them. Did you find that people who had been to the exhibition were commenting on the Flickr page?

On June 4, we opened The Tech Virtual Test Zone , a new 2000 sq ft gallery at The Tech Museum of Innovation featuring exhibits on the theme of art, film, and music that were originally developed in Second Life by a community of creative amateurs. It's also standard practice in community arts programs. than by talking in suppositions.

When I write posts on this blog or share photos on Flickr, they are searchable in Google. The Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) has a good online collection database search. It’s easy to find images from the collection and browse from image to image based on artists and works. They add to my aggregate online existence.
