Our team focused this year on just three things: making the museum more comfortable, hosting new participatory events, and partnering wherever possible. but I didn't have numbers to back it up.

Funders like the NSF have encouraged science centers in particular to share their techniques and evaluations, which is fabulous but also leads to rampant and sometimes unthinking imitation. Or they may just have an unusual and distinctive spirit or ethos behind their work.
