Make a “ stretch gift ” that is very generous and is outside your normal giving pattern. Be familiar with every fundraising program, event, campaign, and activity so you can tell others (sustainers, major gifts, events, direct mail, giving circles, etc.). It doesn’t have to be a gift. Then help implement these tools.

HP is giving away laptop and printer bundles as part of its HP’s Create Change program which is an example of " embedded giving." One way to get people to create content for you is through contests. A common form of contest among companies is the “create a commercial&# contest. Among organizations, contests may seem like a short-cut to get compelling content, and cheaply. The current Heinz contest is a great example.
