We also offered workshops back at the conference location to handle the overflow demand. I remember always being stressed out about whether or not we'd have enough volunteers. We always managed.

Social Media and social networks allow for the quantum effects, paired elements at a distance. And another multiplier comes from Network Theory (not Einstein directly but building on physics and mathematics) which shows that a network strength is in its Weak ties / Loose connections.

I picked up the phone and got a hold of Jim Spadaccini, founder of Ideum, whose blog post I discovered via a discussion thread on flickr and museums on the museum technology list. Jim laughed and told me that the photo was in the public domain so I could blog it anyway I wanted and that he was going to change the default license.
