Holidayheroes.org , a local Chicago nonprofit whose mission is to provide joy and entertainment to children who are seriously ill, created a Double Good virtual fundraiser. The project started in 2008, and they’ve raised over $50 million doing these types of things for sick and injured kids through online gaming fundraisers.
