Looks like an issue with a MediaTemple (gs) database, although they'd probably deny it. It was a line of script on the most recent post pointing to some malware site I obviously won't say here. I found the exact issue on the WordPress support site if anyone is interested. That was the final straw.

We’ve been using Salesforce as our primary everything database since mid 2006. Our database is set up based on the old nonprofit best practice of putting individual constituents/donors in a bucket “Individual&# account. Contacts are linked to donations solely through contact roles.

If you're interested in Salesforce stuff and you just landed from your planet, Chatter is like Facebook in your corporate CRM/database. I wish they were as excited about rollup summaries for lookup fields. You can post status updates, leave comments on other people's profile (think: wall). I wasn't enthused about Chatter from the start.

But did you know that you can use Conga to generate a fully formatted Word file of your monthly donors, let’s say for your newsletter or annual report? We’re all volunteer and have no budget. But I told our Treasurer that purchasing Conga was a must.

I don't want to wait while a utility searches the entire database and then I have to fish for the one I saw. While I do use utilities to search out for duplicates en masse, most of the time I trip across a duplicate during everyday activities. I do a search and 2 identical results come up. Or a staff member points a dupe out to me.

Everyone else primarily uses Salesforce as a member/connection database which is just fine. As it’s a synagogue, I’ve also built out additional functionality around Yahrtzeits (memorials), High Holiday pledges, High Holiday ticketing, Membership and Hebrew School enrollment.

So you can switch back and forth and not worry about losing anything already in your database (which you backup nightly anyway, right?) Intense Debate, like Disqus, allows you to import/export/sync your comments between their hosted system and your blog’s own server. or on Intense Debate should you decide to switch back later.

Both have a library/database file that was easy enough to place in DropBox so I can get the same view of tasks on both my iMac and MacBook. Things and THL only update their database when the application quits, which could mean lost work if the application crashes. Things can get a little confusing between scheduled and due dates.
