Blackbaud hasn’t been doing so well , in the stock price department either. Commenters on Allan’s post wonder about the fate of Convio’s IPO. Speaking of the responses of the old guard, eTapestry, which was bought by Blackbaud last year, is opening up it’s API this week. Time will tell. {

It is an enterprise-class client/server CRM, and has the kind of features you see in such packages as Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge. And Blackbaud may well be shaking in their boots. They made the change after my blog comments and I assume some others commented also. I have high hopes for it.
