I did a webinar for NTEN on it – ReadyTalk worked just fine. There is a podcast with a group of women developers that was recorded during RailsConf. I’m on week 3 of my Ubuntu laptop migration – things are smoothing out – I’ve got audio working, I can listen to mp3 and audio streams.

Has Apple become evil? No, but they are getting stupid.

Zen and the Art of Nonprofit Technology

What Apple did do correctly is allow users to submit their own podcast and homemade music on the itunes website. Because of this ‘open’ philosophy on podcasting, Apple has seen some spill over to their computers and phone. There are better sites for music and there are adequate players for 1/5th the price.
