WordPress theme reverts to default - solved?

I’ve been struggling with this for as long as I’ve had this site on WordPress (since January 2007). Strangely enough, when I checked the theme in WordPress Appearance settings, it would be set to the correct theme and say the files where in the right place, but the site would look like something else. Yes, I did.

July 9, 2007 So I talk a lot about both open source software, and the preciousness of one’s own data. I could dump all my addresses into one big flat file, and use grep. Hopefully with nokia, openmoko, gnome, google, ubuntu, dell and some others, this gap will close. It sometimes tastes yucky. But, that was 4 years ago.
