It was difficult to roll out in a cookie-cutter fashion to many organizations at once…which when you're a large company dealing with smaller organizations I suppose is probably key to a product's financial success. Organizations had nearly unlimited flexibility in what they could do on top of what was in the package.

I decided to have the emails come from the organization's main email account rather than me: To change/setup organization-wide addresses, Setup -> Administration Setup -> Email Administration -> Organization-wide Addresses.

As hard as Salesforce is trying to make Flows approachable, it still comes across as scary to many admins, especially those working at small nonprofits. I’m not finding many Flow use cases for nonprofits built out in enough detail that folks can follow/adapt for themselves. Of course, I set them up on Salesforce.

This is a huge thing for nonprofits. I won’t speculate here as to what that price is, but I’ve heard rumors and suffice to say, it may be tough for smaller organizations to swallow even with the Foundation’s discount. There are other tools/add-ons that have helped close this gap as well. Not so fast.
