Vine has arrived on Windows Phone , which is excellent news as many of the Nokia Windows Phones are equipped with high-end cameras. TechSoup's Ale Bezdikian tested out Vine during TechSoup's Digital Storytelling Contest.

I couldn’t help but think – what if Joe Page or other community foundation board members had flip cameras, some video and story telling training and shared their stories on the Alaska Community Foundation Facebook page? Shoot close to your subject so the audio doesn’t suck especially when using a camera with built-in mic.

I have a loaner FLIP Camera for a couple of weeks. It is the camera that many nonprofits are using to tell their story because they're easy to use and inexpensive (they product giveaway program too). They are using FLIP Cameras and Camtasia editing software to product a series of videos of their deep field work in Africa.
