Out of the box, Google Analytics provides a lot of useful metrics, such as visitors, pageviews, most popular pages, and a variety of other helpful data. As commented on before the data is not necessarily the issue as opposed to how to look at it and what you want to look for. It has to do with marketing measurement and accountability.
