We said yes, and they have now participated in several events, offering a unique mix of traditional tea ceremony, koto music, and bedazzled plastic microphones (see bottom left of photograph). Visitors can comment on how we can improve or what they would like to see.

My career first got moving at a brilliant example of the customer-centered museum: the International Spy Museum. I felt that comfort, satisfaction, and joy on a recent visit to two museums in Glasgow: Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and Riverside Museum. Many of my favorite museums, libraries, and zoos are customer-centered places.

Many fabulous participatory projects--like the Johnny Cash Project or the Art Gallery of Ontario's " In Your Face "--don't require language. designate the difference between languages using design.

In this way, the MP3 experiment is an example of the ways that technological barriers can become benefits by mediating otherwise uncomfortable interactions.
