For the vast majority of nonprofits, charities, and NGOs worldwide the ability to accept digital payments on Facebook is unlikely anytime soon since it would require Facebook to invest significant time and financial resources into creating a process to validate the legal status of the millions of nonprofits that have a Facebook Page.

Over the last few weeks I have been running a Facebook Advertising experiment for the Nonprofit Organizations Facebook Page. While the ad itself produced little-to-no results, some unexpected Facebook insights did come out of running the ad. Facebook did not run the second ad for reasons I do not know. on Facebook.
