However, we thought that since they have opened up applications for their 2010 Technology Leadership Award (given jointly by Lumity, the City of Chicago, and Accenture ), we'd make sure our tech-savvy members know about it as well. The winner will receive $7,500 and two runner-ups will be awarded $1,250 from Accenture.

I met Mark Horvath, winner of the 2013 NTC Rob Stuart Memorial Award , at NTC in 2010. I remember being struck by his passion and his innovation in using social media to inspire tens of thousands of people to join the movement to fight homelessness in America.

Cause Camp is a nonprofit conference that has been nationally recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the best conferences in America for the nonprofit sector. In 2010, the event had a transformation. Nine scholarships for attendees were awarded. However, the name caused some confusion, and leaders sought to make a change.
