Grammarly, the first grammar checker, was actually created in 2009. However, the idea for a grammar checker dates back to the early days of the internet. Why do we need an inclusivity checker?

The internet is not new. In 2009, for example, two trapped girls in Australia chose to post to facebook for help rather than dialing emergency numbers directly. Their Tweetsgiving campaigns were fundraisers benefiting Mama Lucy’s school in Tanzania and connected the students to their supporters through Twitter.
