I could log in to her ID online, but there was no way to reset the security questions. I am the one who is accountable for their behavior and activities online and off, and I take that responsibility seriously. Since the high profile hacking incident last summer , Apple has made it very difficult to reset an account. Not theirs.

Part of my job is helping my colleagues do what they need to do on their computers and online. After playing with all the options, I ultimately decided to export the files to HTML, upload online via FTP and serve in a Salesforce custom web tab aptly named "How Do I?" They ask, "Judi, how do I.?" and I tell them. Took forever.

Zinio recently improved the experience of reading magazines online to the point that I rarely download new issues anymore unless I’m somewhere that my internet connection is slow. Yes, you can get most if not all of the same content online or by reading blogs.

Now there’s so much for knitters online, it’s hard to grasp it all. The place to be as a knitter online seems to be Ravelry. When I fell “asleep,” knitting was a different world. Before, there were some high-activity listservs and sites with patterns to download. Now, there’s podcasts, blogs and knitting social networks.

Next time Comcast goes down in our home like it did this morning, Eric and I can both be online at the same time rather than passing the USB modem back and forth. It's a wireless modem/router just released this month that can allow up to 5 remote connections and works over 3G and 4G networks.

Their license card scheme was a little funky and an online version didn’t quite work out. The developers actively responded to questions, complaints and feature requests in their forums. They respond to tweets and emails promptly. But the software was updated again.

The wifi and AT&T 3G signal was beyond bad, but I got online enough early in the keynote to read about Salesforce Chatter well before it was mentioned in the keynote. And it went downhill from there. It was on the PR wire and covered by the major tech blogs. Benioff tried to build up the suspense for Chatter.

We have to figure out who is likely to engage online and who isn’t (and not just for donations). It’s almost as ridiculous as saying that every geek “works in computers.”. Right away Convio started working on a Salesforce connector to sync Convio online data. That the support and community I felt from GetActive would seep in to the Convio culture eventually. I know there are those who will roll their eyes, but I do think that proved to be true. And my personal relationship with Convio only grew from there.
